18-carat gold Love Medal, from the French House A. Augis, dating from the 1960s-70s. Vintage.
The Medal of Love was born in 1907 in the workshops of the French Maison Augis.
This medal is adorned with a yellow gold + sign in the middle of which is a small diamond and three synthetic rubies.
Height: 2.5 cm (including the oval-shaped bail), 2 cm (without the bail)
Width: 1.3 cm
Marks: 2 hallmarks, including an eagle's head hallmark + the mark A. A. (= Alphonse Augis)
Weight: 1.9 grams
Jewelry in excellent condition. A barely visible mark on the left edge.
This model of love medal is very rare.
